Urology Theodore Benderev, MD Dr Benderev earned his medical degree at University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He completed a surgical internship at the University of California in San Diego, California and a surgical residency at the University of California – Irvine in Orange, California. He completed a urology residency at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
